4. The Family

Our Heavenly Father sends us into families. President Nelson said that our home is to be God’s laboratory of love and service”.

Even though families are far from perfect, we are sent to Earth to learn and experience different situations. Our Father knows about our challenges. He knows how hard it is. Then why does the church insist on showing ideal families?

Because we teach the ideal family and trust that Jesus’ Atonement will make up for what we lack.
