11. Social Responsibility

“We call upon responsible citizens and officers of government everywhere to promote those measures designed to maintain and strengthen the family as the fundamental unit of society.” (P.9)

The Proclamation invites us to share the message of the importance of the family in our society. Please make sure that when you share these truths, do it with love and respect. Building bridges of understanding instead of walls of separation. (Elder Gong, 2020)

You can do this. You can be the difference, bringing peace and love to the conversations. James 1:19 counsels us to “be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.”
